1.Professor/ Assistant Professor/ Lecturer in Computer Science & Engg, Electrical Engg., Electronics & Telecomm Engg., Mechanical Engg., Civil Engg., Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Humanities & Social Sciences

Professor :
Qualifications: Ph.D. degree with first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/Science
Experience:10 years experience in teaching/ industry/research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and/or equivalent. Candidates from industry/profession with Master’s degree in engineering/ technology/ science and with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. degree and with 10 years experience of which 5 years should be at a senior level comparable to that of an Assistant Professor would also be eligible.
Pay Scale : Rs.16400-22400/-
Assistant Professor:
Qualifications:Ph.D. degree with first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology/ Science.
Experience: 3 years experience in teaching/ industry/research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.Candidates from industry/profession with Bachelor’s s degree in engineering/ technology or First class Master’s degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology AND professional work, which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. and with 5 years experience would also be eligible. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. theses and possess 3 years of experience in teaching may also apply.
Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300/-
Lecturer :
Qualifications:First class Master’ss degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology. Candidates likely to complete their ME/MTech by 2009 may also apply. For Lecturer in Science : Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline (Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics). Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. theses or are in the process of submission may also apply.
Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-
