IIT Punjab, Roopnagar (Punjab) invites applications from qualified Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) with an established record of independent, high quality research and commitment to teaching and research for the following regular positions in various Disciplines/ Departments:-
- Professor : Rs. 18400-500-22400, Experience : Minimum 10 years of Teaching/ Research/ Industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at thelevel of Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor or equivalent
- Associate Professor : Rs. 16400-450-20000, Experience : Minimum 8 years of Teaching/ Research/ Industrial experience of which at least 3 yearsshould be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent
- Assistant Professor : Rs. 12000-420-18300, Experience : At least three years of Teaching/ Research/ Industrial experience
Qualification : Ph. D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
An outstanding Engineer/ Technologist working in Industry with established reputation and who has made significant contribution equivalent to Ph.D. degree could also be considered in truly exceptional cases in some areas.
