Department of Posts invites applications from meritorious Sportspersons for recruitment of below posts :
- Postal Assistant – 07 (Bangalore East – 01, Bangalore South – 01, Dharwad – 02, Gulbarga – 01, Mangalore – 01, Mysore – 01)Posts,Pay – Rs.5,200-20,200 (PB-I) + Grade pay of Rs.2,400 plus admissible allowances
- Sorting Assistant- 04 (RMS Bangalore Sorting – 02, RMS HB – 02) Posts,Pay – Rs.5,200-20,200 (PB-I) + Grade pay of Rs.2,400 plus admissible allowances
- Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – 01 (Bangalore South) Posts,Pay – Rs.5,200-20,200 (PB-1) + Grade pay of Rs.2,000 plus admissible allowances
- Postman – 02 (Bangalore West – 01, Bangalore Sorting – 01) Posts,Pay – Rs.5,200-20,200 (PB-1) + Grade pay of Rs.1800 plus admissible allowances
Application Fee: Rs.100/- should be deposited/ paid in any Post Office in Karnataka Circle and submit original receipt along with application.
Examination Fee: Only the Applicants who are called for selection/field trials will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 400/-. Women /SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of exam fee.
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the educational and sports qualification and marks secured in field trials and subject to fulfilment of other prescribed conditions.
