Issued Recruitment Advertisement of District Judge (Entry Level), Direct From Bar Exam-2015. Patna High Court invites applications from eligible Advocates for direct recruitment of District Judge (Entry Level) for filling up 99 Vacancies as on 31/03/2015, both on Permanent and Temporary posts in the Bihar Superior Judicial Service.
- District Judge (Entry Level) – 99 (84 vacancies are of 2012-13, 03 vacancies are of 2013-14, and 12 vacancies are of 2014-15) Posts, Age: 35 to 50 Years as on 05/02/2015, Pay: Rs. 51550-1230-58930-1380-63070
Selection Process: Written Test and Viva Voce test (Interview).
- The High Court shall hold screening test with a view to shortlisting the candidates. The marks obtained in the screening test will be relevant for determining eligibility to appear at the written test. Such marks will not be counted for determination of comparative merit of the candidates.
- The candidates approximately ten times the number of vacancies for appointment, will be called for written test on the basis of marks obtained in Screening Test, if held, provided they secure 150 or more marks out of 300 marks at the Screening Test. The candidates, approximately three times the number of vacancies for appointment, will be called for Viva-Voce test on the basis of marks obtained in Written Test.
- The full marks for screening test shall be 300 and it shall be of 100 questions and each question will carry 03 marks but each wrong answer will incur 01 negative mark. It shall be of objective type. The syllabus shall comprise questions relating to Law (45%), English language (20%), Reasoning and Mathematics (20%), General Knowledge (10%) and Computer (5%).
Examination Fee: Rs.1000/- pay through Online Mode.
