Invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of Professor, Reader and Lecturer on Direct Recruitment basis :
- Professor – 5 Posts, Age : Not exceeding 55 Years, Pay : PB-IV ₹ 37400 – 67000 + ₹ 8700 GP + NPA
- Reader – 10 Posts, Age : Not exceeding 50 Years, Pay : –
- Lecturer – 2 Posts, Age : Not exceeding 40 Years, Pay : PB-III ₹ 15600 – 39100 with GP ₹ 5400 plus NPA
Application Fee: A Demand Draft of ₹ 100/- (A non-refundable) drawn in any nationalized banks in favour of Director, NI H payable at Kolkata must be deposited alongwith the application. SC/ST and others applicants are exempted from such payment as per Govt. of India notification in this regard. Girls/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees as per Govt. of India instructions.
How to Apply: Application in the prescribed application format. The candidate must affix 2-passport size coloured photographs along with the application. The envelope should bear the superscription "Application for the post of ________ (Name of the Post) in NIH".The duly filled in application in the prescribed proforma along with requisite documents should reach at the O/o. the Director, NIH, Kolkata within 6-weeks from the date of publication of the notice in Employment News Paper (04-10 February 2017 Issue) (i.e. Last date will be 14/04/2017), excluding the day of publication, and within 7-weeks for the candidates who are residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Islands or Lakshadweep or abroad.
