Issued recruitment selection of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in the Circle of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Circle.
- Gramin Dak Sevak – GDS – 1771 (Andhra Pradesh – 1126, Telangana – 645), Age Limit: 18 to 45 Years as on 19th April 2017. The maximum age shall be relaxable by 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC / ST Category Candidates. For PWD (PH) Candidates – Age Relaxation up to 10 years, Pay Scales: ₹ 2745-50-4245 / ₹ 3330-60-5130 / ₹ 3635-65-5585 / ₹ 3660-70-5760 / ₹ 4220-75-6470 / ₹ 4575-85-7125 etc.
Selection Process: The Selection will be made as per the automatic generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidates online submitted applications. No weightage will be given for higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory for taking candidate into account for calculating the merit.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to OC (General) / OBC Male are required to pay ₹ 100/- at any Head Post Office. The Candidate who requires to make the payment has to visit any Head Post Office to make the payment. The fee is exempted for all Female and SC/ST candidates. For making the payment candidate should inform Registration Number at the PO Counter.
