- Scientist Gr. IV (2) : 14 posts (UR-10, SC-2, SC-1, PH-1), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6600/- , Age : 35 years
- Scientist Gr. IV (3) : 10 posts (UR-8, SC-1, SC-1, OBC-1), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.7600/- , Age : 40 years
- Scientist Gr. IV (5) : 02 posts (UR), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.37400-67000 grade pay Rs.8900/- , Age : 50 years
Application Fee : Rs.100/- (No fee for SC/ST/BC/PH/Ex-Serviceman candidates) in the form of Bank DD in favour of Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute payable at SBI Durgapur for each post
