ICAR New Delhi will hold a competitive Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination – 2013 for filling up Total 506 Scientist vacancies in Agricultural Research Service under various disciplines. The number of vacancies is only tentative and likely to change.
- Scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) – 506 Posts, Age: 21 to 32 Years as on 01-08-2013, Pay: PB-III Rs 15,600 – 39,100 plus Research Grade Pay of Rs 6,000/-
Application Fee: Rs.500/- for General & OBC Category candidates. Rs.20/- for Women/ Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Disability (PwD) Category Candidates.
Selection Process: Two separate competitive written examinations (Preliminary and Main) followed by Viva-voce.
Exam Details:
1. Preliminary-ARS Examination (Objective Type) – 150 Marks – 2 Hours (Exam Date – 29/12/2013 Sunday from 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon at 33 centres)
2. Main-ARS Examination (Descriptive Type) – 240 – 3 Hours (Exam Date – 16/03/2014 Sunday from 10.A.M. to 01.00 P.M. at 12 centres)
3. Viva-Voce – 60 Marks.
