TFRI invites application for Walk in Interview for the post of Field Assistant and Junior Research Fellow (JRF). 

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01, Qualification – First class M.Sc.in Forestry /Agriculture /Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany. Desirable Qualification: 1) Specialization in plant breeding or genetics. 2)Research Experience related to subject area relevant to the project. 3) Working knowledge of Computer (MS Office etc. 4) Knowledge of biostatistics.
   
2. Field Assistant – 01, Qualification – First Class B.Sc. in Agriculture Entomology/Biology/Forestry/Bio-Science/Zoology. Desirable Qualification: 1) Experience of laboratory and field work related to insects/ apiculture. 2) Basic knowledge of Computer and biostatistics.
   
3. Field Assistant – 01, Qualification – First Class B.Sc. in Science with Chemistry or Biochemistry as one of the subject. Desirable Qualification:1) 1) Experience of field work related to subject area of project. 2) Knowledge of Computer application & statistics.
   
4. Field Assistant – 01, Qualification – First Class B.Sc. In Botany/ Forestry/Agriculture/ Bio-technology. Desirable Qualification: 1) Experience of field work related to subject area of project. 2) Basic knowledge of Computer and biostatistics.
5. Field Assistant – 01, Qualification – First Class B.Sc. in Biology/ Agricultural Entomology/Bio-Science/ Zoology/Forestry. Desirable Qualification: 1) Experience of Laboratory and field work related to insects.2) Basic knowledge of Computer and biostatistics.
   

Age Limit: Field Assistants – 25 years and Junior Research Fellows – 28 years as on 01/01/2014. Relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and 3 years for OBC applicants.

Emoluments:
JRF -> Rs.12000/- PM Fixed without HRA
FA -> Rs.7000/- PM Fixed without HRA

Walk in Interview -> 28/01/2014 from 10.00 AM onwards in the Office of the the Director along with their applications giving full bio-data including address for communication with attested copies of degree certificates and one passport size photograph etc. which may be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
