Issued examination notification for National Eligibility Test (NET)
- JRF (NET) – Maximum 28 Years as on 01/01/2014. (Age Relaxation – 5 Years for SC/ST/OBC, PWD and Female Candidates)
- LS (NET) – No Upper Age Limit
Examination Fee: Rs.400/- for General, Rs.200/- for OBC; Rs.100/- for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) or Visually Handicapped (VH).
How To Apply: Interested and Eligible candidates may apply online through CSIR, HRDG website on or before 04/03/2014 (Extended up to 14/03/2014). Take Printout of Online completed application, paste his/her recent black and white photograph, put his/her signature at the required space, attach requisite certificates and send along with CSIR marked copy of fee deposited Bank of Challan in an envelope super scribed with Subject Code, Centre Code and Medium Code to "Senior Controller of Examination, Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit, CSIR Complex, Library Avenue, Puse, New Delhi-110012" on or before 08/03/2014 (Last date extended up to 19/03/2014) [For remote area candidates – 14/03/2014 (extended up to 25/03/2014)].

- Online Application Submission Closing Date -> 04/03/2014 (Extended to 14/03/2014)

- Last Date for receipt of duly completed hard copy of online Application in the Examination Unit -> 08/03/2014 (Last date extended up to 19/03/2014) [For Remote Areas – 14/03/2014 (extended up to 25/03/2014)]
- Publication of List of candidates registered for test on CSIT, HRDG Website -> 20/05/2014
- Last date for accepting of representation about non-registration for this test -> 27/05/2014
- Issue of e-Admission Certificate to Registered Candidates -> Mid June 2014.
