Invites applications from the eligible candidates for filling up of Technical posts at NIRJAFT, Kolkata under the Administrative control of ICAR.
- Technical Assistant (T-3 Laboratory Technician) – 01 (UR) Posts, Qualification: Essential – Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/ Agri.Engg./ Textile/ Fibre Technology / Textile Design or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. Desirable – Degree in Meuzeology, Experience in Museum. Proficiency in Computer Applications, in the area of word processing, internet. Some knowledge in jute diversified product manufacture, statistical data analysis.
- Technical Assistant (T-3 Laboratory Technician) – 01 (UR) Posts, Qualification: Essential – B.Sc in Agriculture / Chemistry (Hons) from a recognized university. Desirable – B.Sc.in Agriculture / Organic/ Bio-chemistry.
- Technical Assistant (T-3 Laboratory Technician) – 01 (ST) Posts, Qualification: Essential – B.Sc in pure science with Physics/Electronics. Desirable – Knowledge in Natural Fibre processing/Testing/MSc.in Physics.
- Senior Technician (T-2 Laboratory Technician) – 01 (OBC) Posts, Qualification: Essential – Madhyamik with one year certificate course in Electronics/Electronics Mechanic /Instrument Mechanic/Computer Operator & Programming Assistant. Desirable: – Knowledge in fibre processing / Jute Processing & grading / Physical science.
Pay Band & Grade Pay:
- Technical Assistant -> PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
- Senior Technical Assistant -> B-1 Rs.5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
