OSSC invites applications for the below posts :
- Junior Engineer (Civil) – 551 Posts(DEIC (Civil), R&B – 517, EIC (Public Health) – 34) [Female – 182],Age – 21 to 32 Years as on 01/01/2014,Pay – PB-2, Rs.9300/- to 34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Selection Process: Written Examination. The examination shall consist of the following stages:-
(a) Objective type written test(OMR format or Online test) -> 100 marks
(b) Weightage on career evaluation: – (i) High School Certificate – 40 marks; (ii) Certificate in Diploma in Engineering – 60 marks.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- for all SEBC & UR candidates. The fees can be deposited either through online or offline mode using the Treasury Portal or by the conventional mode of deposit in the Treasury. No fee for SC/ST and Persons With Disability (PWD) Category Candidates.
How To Apply: Eligible Candidates have to apply online @ http://online.odishassc.in/ on or before 05/09/2014 up to 11:59 PM. The candidate has to take two copies of the application, one OSSC copy and the other the Applicant's copy. The hard copy of the Application, i.e. the OSSC copy with duly ink signed at the appropriate place along with original copy of the Treasury challan /e-challan (except for SC/ST/PH candidates) with signature and seal of the concerned Bank, where the payment has been made off-line or conventional mode along with required certificates and documents together called the Detailed Application Form (DAF) should be promptly sent to "THE SECRETARY, ODISHA STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION, BARRACK NO-1, UNIT-V, BHUBANESWAR, 751054" by Registered Post / Speed Post. The post cover Superscribing on the top of the envelope as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF "JUNIOR ENGINEER(Civil)". The Last date of receipt of the DAF is 12/09/2014.
