Recruitment of Sportsmen in CISF against Sports Quota. Prescribed format of applications are invited form Male/Female Indian Sports Persons for filling up 176 Vacancies.
- Assistant Sub Inspector/Exe – 79 Posts, Age: Between 20 to 25 Years, Pay: PB-I Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
- Head Constable/GD – 97 Posts, Age: Between 18 to 23 Years, Pay: PB-I Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Selection Process:
- Trail /Test in sports events: Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be put through the test in the sports event to which he/she belongs. This organization will not be responsible for any accident/injury caused to the candidate during the course of trail/test.
- Final Selection: Final Selection of candidates will be made strictly according to merit taking into consideration the performance of the candidates during the course of trail/test though the achievement/performance of the candidates during the last two years will also be taken into consideration.
- Medical Examination: The finally selected candidates will be got medically examined and their appointment in the CISF would be subject to their fitness in the medical examination.
Application Fee: Rs.50/- in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the officer mentioned in official notification and payable at the post office. No fee for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
How To Apply: Only those meritorious sportsmen/sportswomen apply on the prescribed application format. Completed application addressed to concerned DIsG/CISF, so as to reach latest by 22/01/2015 and in case of residents of North East region by 29/01/2015 along with attested Photostat copies of required documents.
