Will hold a Competitive Examination for recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Engineering Department.
Assistant Engineer (Civil) : The no. of vacancies in different services and posts to be filled on the results of the examination will be announced later, Age: Not more than 32 years on the 1st January, 2016 (i.e. born not earlier than the 2nd January, 1984), Pay: (PB-4A) ₹ 15,600-42,000/- + Grade Pay of ₹ 5,400/-
Selection Process: Written Examination (Multiple choice objective type questions) and Interview. The Test will be held in Kolkata centre only in the month of August 2016 or thereabout followed by the Interview. The Interview of the candidates selected on the basis of the results of the written examination will be held at the Commission's office in Kolkata.
Application Fee: ₹ 210/- only + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of ₹ 5/- only for online payment through debit/ credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of ₹ 5/- only for Net Banking or Service Charge of ₹ 20/- only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment). SC / ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are advised to submit One Time Registration through WBPSC Website. After fill Assistant Engineer (Civil) Exam Online Application from 26/04/2016 to 17/05/2016 up to 12:00 Midnight.
