- Senior Technical Assistant (STA) – 4 Posts, Age: 35 years, Pay: ₹ 15600 – 39100 + Grade Pay ₹ 5400
- Fellow – 1 Post, Age: 30 years (05 years relaxation for SC), Pay: ₹ 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay ₹ 4200
How to Apply: The candidates may apply on the form download from official website together with the requisite application fee of ₹ 300/- by crossed demand draft (DD) or Indian Postal Order (IPO). The prescribed application form can also be obtained from the office of the Administrative Coordinator, IIG, by paying an application fee of ₹ 300/- by crossed demand draft/Indian Postal Order in favour of Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, New Panvel, either in person between 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on working days' (Monday to Friday) OR it can be obtained by post by sending an application along with the application fee and a self-addressed stamped (for ₹ 10/-) envelope super-scribing "Request for Application Form". For SC/ST candidates, application form will be issued free of cost on production of valid caste certificate. The Filled in applications should reach the office of the Administrative Coordinator, IIG, on or before 12/08/2016.
