Selection Process: Written test will be of Objective type (Maximum marks 50). The candidates passed in the written test will be called for trade test, as applicable. The pass marks will be 50% for UR (General)/OBC category and 45% for SC/ST candidates in written test. However, the skill/ physical tests will only be qualifying in nature with no bearing on the overall merit.
How to Apply: Application (English or Hindi) should be sent by only ordinary post to The Commander, Headquarters, Coast Guard Region (North-West), Post Box No.-09, Sector-11 , Gandhinagar, Gujarat-382010. The last date of receipt of application is 45 days of the date of publication in Employment News dated 13 – 19 August 2016 Issue (i.e. Last date may be 26/09/2016). The envelope containing the application must be super scribed as 'Application for the post of ______'.
