Invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices for filling 46 Vacancies under Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended in 1973 & 1986) in various Trade / Disciplines at Gujarat Refinery, Vadodara.

  1. Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) Discipline – Chemical – 15 Posts, Pay: 1st Year – ₹ 6970/-, 2nd Year – ₹ 7220/- (18 Months)
  2. Trade Apprentice (Fitter) – Discipline – Mechanical – 5 Posts, Pay: ₹ 6970/- (12 Months)
  3. Trade Apprentice (Boiler) – Discipline – Mechanical – 6 Posts, Pay: 1st Year – ₹ 6490/-, 2nd Year – ₹ 9718/-, 3rd Year – ₹ 10620/- (36 Months)
  4. Technician Apprentice – Discipline – Chemical – 11 Posts, Pay: ₹ 10620/- (12 Months)
  5. Technician Apprentice – Discipline -Mechanical – 3 Posts, Pay: ₹ 10620/- (12 Months)
  6. Technician Apprentice – Discipline – Electrical – 3 Posts, Pay: ₹ 10620/- (12 Months)
  7. Technician Apprentice – Discipline -Instrumentation – 3 Posts, Pay: ₹ 10620/- (12 Months)  

Selection Process: Written Test and Personal Interview. The Written Test will be of two hours duration & would carry a weightage of 85%. The maximum weightage for Interview will be 15%. The candidates will have to qualify successfully through each stage of the selection process i.e. Written Test & Personal Interview (Minimum 40%, relaxable by 5% for candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories against reserved positions) and Pre-Employment Medical Fitness for being adjudged suitable for engagement.
