- Assistant Coach (Group C) – 1 Posts, Age: 18-27, Pay: PB-1: ₹ 5200-20200 GP ₹ 2000
- Driver Grade II (Group C) – 1 Posts, Age: 18-27 years, Pay: PB-1: ₹ 5200-20200 GP ₹ 2000
Application Fee: A non-refundable Demand Draft (DD) of ₹ 100/- in favour of Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee payable at Roorkee towards the Application Fee. No fee for IIT Roorkee employees, SC/ ST and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates.
Selection Process: Written Exam and Skill Test/ Typing Test.
The Screening/ Short listing of the applications will be done through a Screening Test. This test will only be to screen and short listing the applicants from the large number of those applicants who had otherwise possess the essential qualifications and meet the age criteria. The objective type written examination for the screening/ shortlisting will comprise of General Intelligence, English Language (Basic knowledge), General Awareness, Psychological Questions to test the attitude to serve, and Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill). The second level examination for the Short-listed candidates will be in the form of Skill Test/ Typing Test on Computer (Hindi/ English)/ Job-related test, as applicable.
How to Apply: The eligible candidates are required to apply either through on-line mode or off-line mode (Prescribed application form). The Closing date for online registration is 28/11/2016 up to 5:30 PM. The print out of completed on-line application (OR) filled Prescribed application format along with all relevant supporting documents duly self attested should be sent to the Assistant Registrar (Recruitment), Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee-247 667 (Uttarakhand) on or before 05/12/2016 through Speed/ Registered post or in person. The envelope containing complete application should be super-scribed "Application for the post of ____".
