- Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon) – 808 (242 Vacancies reserved for Women) Posts, Pay : ₹ 15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay of ₹ 5,400/-
Application Fee: A Non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of ₹ 300/- only. Candidate belonging to SC / ST of Odisha and Persons with Disability (whose disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon) will be made on the basis of written test and career marking. The career marking will be for 30% (10% each for class 10th class, 12th and M.B.B.S.) and 70% for written Test. The written examination will be held at Cuttack. The written exam is likely to be held on 18th December 2016.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates must apply online through OPSC Online Portal on or before 20/11/2016.Candidates are required to send the Printout/Hard copy of the filled in Online Application Form duly signed under the declaration along with copies of required certificates and documents etc., and the OPSC copy of Challan showing payment of Application fee, by Registered Post/ Speed Post to the Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001 on or before 28/11/2016. The envelope containing the Printout /Hard copy of the Online application along with requisite certificates and documents etc must be super-scribed "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF MEDICAL OFFICER (ASSISTANT SURGEON)".
