JNU has openings for faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor for its various Schools/ Centres and Special Centres in various areas :
- Professor : 34 posts (UR) in various subjects in the pay scale of ₹37400-6700 AGP ₹10000
- Associate Professor : 38 posts (UR) in various subjects in the pay scale of ₹37400-6700 AGP ₹9000
- Assistant Professor : 26 posts (UR-17, OBC-09) in various subjects in the pay scale of ₹15600-39100 AGP ₹6000
Application Fee : There is an application fee of Rs. 500/- from candidates belonging to General and OBC Category. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates.
