Invites applications from outstanding Sportspersons for recruitment of Group 'C' Posts against Sports Quota for the Year 2016-2017.
- Pivot – 1 Post, Name of the Sports: Baseketball (Men)
- Opening Batsman – 1 Post, Name of the Sports: Cricket (Men)
- Stopper – 1 Post, Name of the Sports: Football (Men)
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Trial and Interview.
Examination Fee: General and OBC Category Candidates should pay ₹ 500/-; For SC/ST/ Minorities and Economically Backward Classes are required to pay ₹ 250/-. The fee payable in Indian Postal Order (IPO) at GPO/Kolkata, drawn in favour of FA&CAO, Metro Railway, Kolkata.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications along with copies of relevant certificates, two self addressed envelopes (Size 11”x 5”), two recent passport size photographs, in an envelope super-scribed "APPLICATION FOR SPORTS QUOTA RECRUITMENT 2016-1 7 IN THE DISCIPLINE” by post, addressed to the Chief Personnel Officer, Metro Railway/Kolkata, Metro Rail Bhavan (2nd Floor), 33/1, J.L. Nehru Road, Kolkata-700 071 OR to be dropped in the box placed at the second floor at the said address during office hours except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. The last date for submission of applications is 10/03/2017 up to 17:30 Hours.
