Invites applications from Indian Citizens for selection of candidates for permanent posts of Assistant Professor, Group-A Gazetted, Government (General) Degree Colleges under the Education (Higher) Department, Government of Tripura.
- Assistant Professor – 182 (05 Vacancy reserved for PWD) Posts, Pay: ₹ 15600 – 39100 with AGP of ₹ 6000/- per month, Discipline wise Vacancies: Bengali – 06, English – 17, Education – 14, History – 17, Political Science – 05, Philosophy – 07, Sanskrit – 12, Economics – 04, Psychology – 03, Statistics – 03, Hindi – 01, Environmental Science- 05, Commerce – 01, Physical Education – 11, Physics – 11, Chemistry – 04, Mathematics – 15, Zoology – 11, Botany – 09, Physiology – 18, ETCE – 01, Bio Chemistry – 01, Bio Technology – 02, Micro-Biology – 02, Arabic – 02. Age Limit: Up to 40 Years as on 4th November 2017. Upper Age-limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC, ST, Differently abled (PH) candidates and Government Servants, provided that the Govt. servants of SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH) category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 05 years available to them.
Recruitment Fees:
(1) Group-A Posts – ₹ 200/- only for General Candidates and ₹ 150/- only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(2) Group-B Posts – ₹ 150/- only for General Candidates and ₹ 100/- only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(3) Group-C Posts – ₹ 100/- only for General Candidates and ₹ 50/- only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(4) SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.
How to Apply: Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 02 copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates, self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of ₹ 5/- is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat latest by 04/11/2017 up to 5.00 PM. Applicants may obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number from reception counter of the Commission.
