ENROLMENT FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING IN DESIGNATED TRADES (IT-21)

Invites Online Applications from ITI qualified candidates (Male / Female) for recruitment enrolment of Apprenticeship Training in various designated trades for filling up total of 180 Vacancies at Dockyard Apprentice School under Apprentice Act – 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rules 1992.

One Year Training Trade Posts:

  1. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Fitter, ITI Trade: Fitter, No of Vacancies: 15
  2. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Machinist, ITI Trade: Machinist, No of Vacancies: 10
  3. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Sheet metal worker, ITI Trade: Sheet metal worker, No of Vacancies: 15
  4. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Welder (Gas & Elect), ITI Trade: Welder, No of Vacancies: 15
  5. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Plumber, ITI Trade: Plumber, No of Vacancies: 10
  6. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Mason (BC), ITI Trade: Building Constructor, No of Vacancies: 10
  7. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, ITI Trade: Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, No of Vacancies: 5

  3. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Rigger, ITI Trade: Fresher, No of Vacancies: 5
  4. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Shipwright (Wood), ITI Trade: Carpenter, No of Vacancies: 15
  5. Apprenticeship Training Trade : Crane Operator (Overhead Steel Industry), ITI Trade: Fresher, No of Vacancies: 5

Selection Process: The Preliminary selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Matric and ITI Examination. Candidates in the Preliminary Merit list will be called for Written Test to be held at Mumbai in the last week of January 2018. Candidates placed in the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in written examination, will be called for Interview/ Skill Test in February 2018.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to Apply Online through Bharti Seva Website. The online application would be opened from the third day (10:00 hrs) of publication of notification in Employment News and will remain open till 21 days after date of publication in Employment News (upto 23:50 hrs). i.e. Online registration of application will be open from  11/12/2017 to 30/12/2017.
