Recruitment of Boat Crew Personnel in Indian Navy-2018 of Eastern Naval Command and Andaman & Nicobar Command 2/2018

Invites applications from eligible applicants for recruitment of Boat Crew Personnel Group B and Group C Civilian (Non Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, Non-Industrial) posts in Indian Navy-2018 of Eastern Naval Command (Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam, NCB (K), NOIC (WB), NCB (CHN), NOIC (TN), VIRBAHU) and Andaman & Nicobar Command (KARDIP, JARAWA, NSRY (PB), CoY(PB)).

  1. Master Grade-I, Group-B (NG) – 5 Posts, Pay: Level-6 (₹ 35400-112400)
  2. Master Grade-II [erstwhile Master Grade-II & Mate], Group-C (NG) – 6 Posts, Pay: Level-5 (₹ 29200-92300)
  3. Syrang of Lascar [erstwhile Syrang of Lascar & Sukhani], Group-C (NG) – 6 Posts, Pay: Level-4 (₹ 25500-81100)
  4. Lascar-I [erstwhile Lascar 1st Class & Lascar (OD)], Group-C (NG) – 46 Posts, Pay: Level-1(₹ 18000-56900)
  5. Senior Engine Driver [erstwhile Senior Engine Driver (Steam/Motor) & Engine Driver I Class (Steam/Motor)], Group-B (NG) – 6 Posts, Pay: Level-6 (₹ 35400-112400)
  6. Engine Driver II Class (Steam/Motor), Group-C(NG) – 2 Posts, Pay: Level-5 (₹ 29200-92300)
  7. Engine Driver [erstwhile Syrang (ER) (Steam/ Motor) & Engine Driver III] Group-C (NG) – 14 Posts, Pay: Level-4 (₹ 25500-81100)
  8. Greaser Group-C (NG) – 6 Posts, Pay: Level-1 (₹ 18000-56900)
  9. Fireman [erstwhile Fireman & Asst. Fireman] Group-C (NG) – 9 Posts, Pay: Level-1 (₹ 18000-56900)

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Examination.

How to Apply: The application should be on plain paper (A4 Size) (good quality paper should be used) either neatly hand written or typed as per the prescribed format, affixed with latest passport size colour photograph duly self-attested. Completed applications along with photo-copies of required documents / certificates should be addressed to The Admiral Superintendent {for Manager Personnel}, Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam – 530014 by Registered post only. The envelope must be clearly super scribed on the top as APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF "________" and CATEGORY "________" (i.e.SC/ST/OBC/PwBDs/ESM/Meritorious Sportsperson). Apply within 45 days from the date of issue of this publication (i.e. Last date will be 27/08/2018). The last date for receipt of applications from candidates residing at Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands is seven days thereafter.
