Applications are invited from Indian Nationals who are active members of Bharat Scouts and Guides vacancies in Grade C and erstwhile Group D grades.
- Group-'C' – 02 [SER Headquarters] Posts, Age: UR – 18-28 Years, OBC – 18-31 Years, SC/ST – 18-33 Years, Pay: PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200/-with corresponding Grade Pay- ₹ 1900/-
- Erstwhile Group-'D' – 08 [02 posts each for Kharagpur, Adra, Chakradharpur & Ranchi Division] Posts, Age: UR – 18-31 Years, OBC – 18-34 Years, SC/ST – 18-36 Years, Pay: PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200/- with corresponding Grade Pay- ₹ 1800/-
Examination Fee: ₹ 500/- for Unreserved and OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD (PH) & Women, Minority Communities and Economically Backward Classes/Sections are required to pay application fee of ₹ 250/-. The Bank Draft / IPO should be issued in favour of FA&CAO, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach-700043, payable at GPO / Kolkata.
Selection Process: Written Test (50 Marks), Scouting Skill Assessment (10 Marks), Marks on Certificates (40 Marks)
How to Apply: Candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format, filled in all respects, along with the enclosures should be sent to The Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Bungalow N0.12A, Garden Reach, Kolkata -700043 (Near BNR Central Hospital) by Post. Alternatively, candidates can also drop their applications directly in the Drop Box placed at the office. The postal cover envelope "Application, against Scouts &, Guides Quota recruitment for the year 2017-18 in the Grade Pay ₹ 1900/1800" (Strike out whichever is not applicable).
