Invites online applications from eligible ITI Qualified Male and Female candidates for enrolment for Apprenticeship Training in various optional (non-designated) trades for enrolment into 01 year Apprenticeship training Dockyard Apprentice School Mumbai under Apprentice Act 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship rules 1992 as amended from time to time.
- ITI Apprentices – 118 (GT Fitter – 01, Computer Fitter – 02, Boiler Maker – 02, Weapon Fitter – 25, ICE Fitter Crane – 37, Civil Works / Mason – 18, Ship Fitter – 12, Gyro Fitter – 06, Machinery Control Fitter – 06, Sonar Fitter – 06, Blacksmith – 03), Age: Born between 1st April 1997 to 31st March 2004. The upper age is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST candidates and 02 years for wards of Defence employees.
Minimum Physical Standards: Height – 150 Cm, Weight – not less than 45 Kg, Chest expansion – not less than 5 cm, Eye sight 6/6 to 6/9 (6/9 corrected with glasses), external and internal organs to be normal.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Examination, Interview / Skill Test.
