JOIN INDIAN AIR FORCE AS AN AIRMAN 2019
Invites Online applications from unmarried male citizens of India and Nepal born between 19th January 1999 and 1st January 2003 (both days inclusive) to join as an Airman in Group X (Except Education Instructor) Trades and Group Y {Non-Technical except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF(P), IAF(S) & Musician} Trades.
- Airman in Group X (Except Education Instructor) Trades, Group Y {Non-Technical except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF(P), IAF(S) & Musician} Trades, Age Limit: Candidate born between 19th January 1999 and 1st January 2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years,
Pay & Allowances: During training, a stipend of ₹ 14,600/- per month will be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP), Group 'X' Pay {applicable for Group 'X' Trades only} and Dearness Allowance (DA) will be as follows:-
(a) Group 'X' Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade) -> ₹ 33,100/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.
(b) Group 'Y' {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician) Trades -> ₹ 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.
Selection Process:
- Phase I – Online Test
- Phase II – Verification of Eligibility, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-I, Adaptability Test-II
- Phase III – Medical Examination
How to Apply: Eligible candidates apply online through IAF CASE Web Portal (Airmen Selection CDAC Website www.airmenselection.cdac.in). The Online registration will be available from 2nd January 2019 and close on 21/01/2019. The Detailed advertisement will be available from 22nd December 2018.
