Guwahati invites online applications for recruitment of Grade-III and Grade-IV vacancy posts in different departments under the Government of Assam.
- Grade III – 340 Posts, Vacancies: Junior Assistant, Khalashi, Helper, Junior Instructors, Store Keeper, Pharmacist, Dresser, Workshop Attendant, Store Attendant, Chowkidar, Mohurrir, Peon, Statistical Assistant, Junior Inspector
- Grade IV – 416 Posts, Vacancies: Process Server Peon, District and State Level Peons, Chowkidar, Cook, Bearer, Plantation Mali, Khalashi etc.
Age limit: 18 to 54 years as on 1st January 2018. Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2000 and on or after 01-01-1964.
Pay Scales:
- Grade III – ₹ 14000 – 49000 + Grade Pay ₹ 6200
- Grade IV – ₹ 12000 – 37500 + Grade Pay ₹ 3900
Educational Qualification: Class VIII / Matric Passed, HSLC, Graduate Degree.
Selection Process: Written Test. The written test will be of 100 marks and will be completely OMR based. There will be 50 questions and each question will be of 02 marks. Candidates will use black or dark blue ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet.
