- Sub Inspector of Police (AR) – 276 Posts, Service Name: Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate Service
- Sub Inspector of Police (TSP) – 33 Posts, Service Name: Tamil Nadu Special Police Subordinate Service
Age Limit: 30 years for BC category, 33 years for SC/ ST, 35 years for Destitute Widow, 45 years for Ex-servicemen, Departmental candidates. Pay Scale: ₹ 36900 – 116600/-
Selection Process: Written Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) / Endurance Test (ET), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Viva Voce, Special Marks.
Examination Fee: Eligible candidates will have to pay exam fee of ₹ 500/-. Departmental candidates appearing for both Open Quota and Departmental Quota Examination will have to pay ₹ 1000/- as examination fee. The payment options are both online (Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card) and Offline (State Bank of India cash challan).
