The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has recently released a notification for the recruitment of 9212 Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) (Male/ Female) and 11 Constable (Pioneer) vacancies. CRPF Constable Recruitment Age Limit
The minimum age limit for CRPF Constable Recruitment is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 27 years as of 1st August 2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/08/1996 and later than 01/08/2002. Age relaxation is applicable as per CRPF rules.
CRPF Constable Recruitment Pay Scale
The selected candidates for CRPF Constable Recruitment will receive a pay scale of Pay level-3 (₹ 21,700 – 69,100).
CRPF Constable Recruitment Educational Qualifications
- Constable / Driver: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent. Should possess Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License and should pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.
- Constable / Mechanic Motor Vehicle: Minimum Matriculate or 10th Class pass in 10+2 examination system or equivalent.
- Possessing 02 years Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade (OR) National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade and 01 year practical experience in the field of concerned Trade.
- For all other Constable / Tradesman: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent or equivalent Army qualification in case of Ex-Army Personnel. Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
- Constable / Pioneer Wing: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board. year experience in respective trades like Masonry or Plumbing or Electrician. Preference will be given to those having a certificate of trade.
CRPF Constable Recruitment Application Fee
The application fee for male candidates of General, EWS, and OBC categories is ₹ 100/- only. However, SC/ST, Female (all categories) candidates & Ex-servicemen are exempted from the application fee.
The selection process for CRPF Constable Recruitment consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Trade Test
- Documents Verification
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
CRPF Constable Exam Scheme
The CRPF Constable Exam Scheme consists of four subjects: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English / Hindi. Each subject will have 25 questions, and the maximum marks for each subject are 25.
How to Apply for CRPF Constable Recruitment
To apply for CRPF Constable Recruitment, eligible candidates are required to apply online through the CRPF Online application portal (rect.crpf.gov.in) starting from 27th March 2023. The candidates must provide all basic details and upload the required documents, including their photograph, signature, and relevant documents. The last date for registration of online applications is 25/04/2023, and the last date for submission of the application is 02/05/2023, until 11:55 PM.
