Indian Navy SSC Officer Vacancies
The Indian Navy has released a notification for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) for course commencing January 2024 onwards at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. This is a great opportunity for unmarried Men and Women candidates to join the Indian Navy as SSC officers in various branches.
Branch-wise Vacancies
There are a total of 242 vacancies available for the SSC Officers Jan 2024 (ST 24) course. The vacancies are distributed among the following branches:
- SSC Officer (Executive Branch): 150
- SSC Officer (Education Branch): 12
- SSC Officer (Technical Branch): 80
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment, candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Age Limit: As per the advertisement.
Educational Qualifications:
- Executive Branch: B.E. / B.Tech engineering graduate in any discipline from AICTE recognized institute / university with minimum 60% marks.
- Education Branch: First Class M.Sc. Post Graduate in relevant discipline with 60% marks.
- Technical Branch: B.E. / B.Tech engineering graduate in relevant discipline from AICTE recognized institute / university with minimum 60% marks.
The selection process for the Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment is as follows:
- Shortlisting of applications will be based on the preference of entries and normalized marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalized using formulae mentioned in Join Indian Navy website.
- SSB Examination / Interview.

Eligible candidates can register and fill the application on the Indian Navy website from 29th April 2023. While filling up the e-application, the candidates are required to upload relevant documents. The candidates are required to fill all details such as e-mail address, mobile number, etc. The last date for registration of online application is 14/05/2023.
