Union Bank of India is seeking to hire female sportspersons in hockey for the position of Single Window Operator-‘A’ / Clerk. The bank is hiring for the position of Single Window Operator-‘A’ / Clerk. The number of vacancies for this post is 11.
Age Limit and Pay Scale
The minimum age limit for the candidates applying for this recruitment drive is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 28 years.
The selected candidates will be offered a pay scale of ₹ 17900-1000/ 3-20900-1230/ 3-24590-1490/ 4-30550-1730/ 7-42660-3270/ 1-45930-1990/ 1-47920(20 Years).
Eligibility Criteria
The bank has laid down specific eligibility criteria that candidates must fulfill to apply for this recruitment drive. These are as follows:
(1) The candidate must have represented the Country in International competition, or represented any State in National competition, or represented any District in State level competition, or represented any University in Inter-University competition conducted by Inter University Sports Board, or represented any State School team in the National sports / Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation, or been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive, as a Sportsperson of the Game or Sports discipline for which Recruitment is to be conducted by the Bank.
(2) At the time of the appointment, the candidate must be an active sportsperson, and their last participation should be within 1 year prior to the date of issue of notification for the recruitment, and they should be fit enough to take part in future tournaments as well.
(3) The candidate must submit certificates relating to efficiency/merit/representation in sports, as issued in the prescribed format by the competent authorities to evidence credentials in the respective game/sports.
Selection Process
The selection process for this recruitment drive is divided into three phases: Sports Proficiency, Field Trial, and Written Test.
The total marks for each phase are 50, 100, and 50, respectively.

The application fee for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwBD category is ₹ 175, while for General/OBC candidates, it is ₹ 850. Candidates can apply online by visiting the NHB Online application portal and entering all their basic details and uploading all the required documents, including a photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
