The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Directorate of Purchase and Stores (DPS) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 65 Junior Purchase Assistant / Junior Store Keeper posts. Age Limit: The minimum age limit for DPS DAE Junior Purchase Assistant is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years as on the closing date of application. Candidates must have been born between 15/05/1996 and 15/05/2005 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation of 5 years for SC, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBD is applicable.
Salary: Selected candidates for the DPS DAE Junior Purchase Assistant post will be placed in Level 4 with a salary range of ₹ 25500 – 81100/-.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with 60% marks or a Commerce Graduate with 60% marks or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Computer Science with 60% marks from Government recognized universities / Institutions.
Selection Process: The selection process for the DPS DAE Junior Purchase Assistant post will consist of two levels: Level 1 – Objective Type Test Level 2 – Descriptive Type Test
Exam Pattern: The DPS DAE Junior Purchase Assistant exam will consist of the following subjects and number of questions:
- General English (50 questions)
- General Intelligence & Reasoning in Science (OR) Basic Accounting Principles (60 questions)
- Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic) (50 questions)
- General Knowledge (20 questions)
- Computer Knowledge (20 questions)
Application Fee: The application fee for General / OBC category candidates is ₹ 200/-. However, there is no fee for SC, ST, Women, Ex-servicemen, and PWD candidates.
