Age Limit: The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the DVC Junior Engineer Recruitment is 28 years. However, there are certain age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates as per the guidelines of the Government of India.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be offered a salary in the range of ₹35,400-1,12,400/- in Pay Matrix Level 6 as per the 7th Pay Revision.
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the DVC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a 3-year full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized College/Institute approved by AICTE.
- The diploma should have a minimum of 65% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS category candidates and 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Selection Process: The selection process for DVC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2023 consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test: Candidates will undergo a computer-based test that comprises two parts and has a duration of two hours.
- Part-I: General Aptitude Test (GAT) covering vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, numerical ability, and more.
- Part-II: Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) focusing on discipline-specific questions.
- Documents Verification: Candidates who qualify in the computer-based test will be called for documents verification.
