The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) has released a recruitment notification for various positions including Medical Officer, Canteen Supervisor, Nurse, and Cook cum Bearer. These positions are available on a Fixed Tenure Contract (Adhoc basis). Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications before the deadline of 19th May 2023.
Recruitment Details
FACT has published two recruitment notifications for the year 2023: Notification No. 08/2023 and Notification No. 09/2023. The details of the available positions are as follows:
Notification No. 08/2023:
- Medical Officer: Multiple vacancies available.
Notification No. 09/2023:
- Canteen Supervisor: Multiple vacancies available.
- Nurse: Multiple vacancies available.
- Cook cum Bearer: Multiple vacancies available.
Monthly Salary
The monthly salary for the respective positions is as follows:
- Canteen Supervisor: ₹25,000/- per month
- Nurse: ₹25,000/- per month
- Cook cum Bearer: ₹22,000/- per month
- Medical Officer: ₹43,000/- per month
Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for these positions, the candidates must fulfill the following educational qualifications:
Medical Officer:
- MBBS degree with registration under the Indian Medical Council/ State Medical Council.
- Certificate of Training in Industrial Health of minimum 3 months duration recognized by the State Government or Diploma in Industrial Health or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience as a Medical Practitioner in Industrial Establishments/ Hospitals.
Canteen Supervisor:
- Degree in Catering Technology / Catering Science / Hotel Management, or
- Three-Year Diploma in Catering Technology / Catering Science / Hotel Management, or
- 10th Pass with Diploma / Certificate in Catering / Food Production / Food & Beverage of minimum one-year duration with 5 years’ post-qualified supervisory experience.
Nurse:
- Passed Standard X and possess a Three-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
- Registered with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Emergency / Casualty department / ICC Unit of a hospital / Occupational Health Centre.
- Capable of operating Electro Medical Equipment.
Cook cum Bearer:
- Passed Standard X and possess a Certificate in Food Production / Cooking from a Government Food Craft Institute / Institute recognized by the Government.
- 5 years of experience as a Cook (Non-vegetarian/Vegetarian) in an Industrial Canteen/similar establishment.
Selection Process
The selection process for these positions will involve a Test/Interview.
