IRDAI Assistant Manager Recruitment Notification 2023
The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) Hyderabad has released its recruitment notification for 2023. It is inviting online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for filling up 45 vacant posts in Assistant Manager (AM) grade through open competition on an all India basis for its various offices. Interested candidates must apply before the closing date of 10th May 2023.
Discipline-Wise IRDAI Assistant Manager Vacancies
The vacancies are available for various streams as follows:
- Actuarial: 05 posts
- Finance: 05 posts
- Law: 05 posts
- IT: 05 posts
- Research: 05 posts
- Generalist: 05 posts
Age Limit
The candidates must meet the following age requirements:
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 30 years as on 10/05/2023.
- Candidates should have been born not earlier than 11.05.1993 and not later than 10.05.2002 (both days inclusive).
- Age relaxation is available for SC / ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen and Commissioned Officers as per government norms.
Pay Scale
The selected candidates will be paid according to their roles as follows:
- Division Head (Administration): ₹ 1,45,000/- per month
- Banker Faculty – Technical: ₹ 75,000/- per month
- Chief Hindi Officer: ₹ 75,000/- per month
- Manager & PA to Director: ₹ 56,000/- per month
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the Assistant Manager post in IRDAI:
- Actuarial: Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks and 7 papers passed of IAI as per 2019 curriculum.
- Finance: Graduation with a minimum of 60 % marks and ACA/ AICWA/ ACMA/ ACS/ CFA.
- Law: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a minimum of 60% marks.
- IT: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science/ Software Engineering) with a minimum of 60% marks (OR) Masters in Computers Application (MCA) with a minimum of 60% marks (OR) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a postgraduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers / Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Research: Master’s Degree or 2-years Post Graduate Diploma in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics & Informatics with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Generalist: Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) with a minimum of 60% marks.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following phases:
- Phase I: Online Preliminary Examination
- Phase II: Descriptive Examination
- Phase III: Interview
Exam Pattern
The exam pattern as follows:
- Test of Reasoning: 40 questions for 40 marks
- Test of English Language: 40 questions for 40 marks
- Test of General Awareness: 40 questions for 40 marks
- Test of Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions for 40 marks
Application Fee
- General / OBC: ₹ 750/- (includes exam fee and intimation charges)
- SC / ST / PwBD: ₹ 100/- (intimation charges only)
