Sainik School Bijapur (SSBJ) – 586108 (Karnataka) has recently released a notification for the recruitment of various staff positions on a contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the following posts within 21 days from the date of advertisement.

Age Limit:
The age limit for the Counselor position is 21 to 35 years, and for all other posts, it is between 18 to 50 years, as of 01/06/2023.
Salary:
The consolidated salary for the aforementioned positions will be based on the candidate’s qualification and experience.
Educational Qualifications:
- LDC: The candidate must have completed Class XII / Pre-Degree with a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute. The candidate should also have the ability to correspond in English and perform computer operations.
- Music Teacher: The candidate must have completed Higher Secondary with a degree or diploma in music.
- PEM / PTI cum Matron: The candidate must have passed a minimum of 10th Class / Matric with proficiency in games/sports.
- Counselor: The candidate must have completed a Graduate/Post Graduate in Psychology or Post Graduate in Child Development or a Graduate with a Diploma in Career Guidance and Counseling.
- Ward Boys: The candidate must have passed a minimum of 10th class / Matric.
Selection Process:
The selection process for the above-mentioned positions will comprise a Written Test, Practical Test, and Interview.

Candidates applying for the positions need to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹ 500/- via Demand Draft. The Demand Draft must be in favor of Principal, Sainik School Bijapur, and payable at State Bank of India, Sainik School Campus, Bijapur Branch (Code 3163).
