Age Limit
Candidates applying for the respective positions must fulfill the following age criteria:
- Project Assistant: Up to 50 years
- Project Scientist: Up to 35 years
- Senior Project Assistant: Up to 40 years
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Up to 28 years
Monthly Salary
Successful candidates will be offered the following monthly salary:
- Project Assistant:
- Project Scientist: ₹56,000 + HRA
- Senior Project Assistant: ₹42,000 + HRA
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹31,000 per month
Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for the positions, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:
- Project Assistant SP337: First-class B.Sc. in Microbiology.
- Project Scientist: Doctoral Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering.
- Senior Project Assistant: M.Sc. in Microbiology with 4 years of experience in a research lab or Doctoral Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology.
- Project Assistant: First-class B.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Master’s degree with at least 60% marks in any discipline in Biological Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Chemistry.

The selection of candidates will be based on an interview conducted by Agharkar Research Institute.
