Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL) in Visakhapatnam is inviting online applications from Indian citizens who have passed their Graduate/ Diploma/ ITI during the years 2021, 2022, and 2023. The recruitment is for engaging Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentice Act 1961, as amended in 1961, 1973, and 2014. Here are the details of the different positions available for Apprenticeship Training:

Graduate Apprentice (B.E. / B.Tech)

Diploma Apprentice (Technician)

• No. of Vacancies: 23

Trade Apprentice (ITI)

• No. of Vacancies: 11

DRDO NSTL Apprentice Vacancy 2023 Disciplines:

The vacancies for apprenticeships are available in the following disciplines:

• Graduate Apprentice: Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• Diploma Apprentice: Computer Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Commercial and Computer Practice.
• ITI Apprentice: CNC Operator, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Electrician, Welder (Gas & Electric), Turner, Fitter, Machinist.

DRDO NSTL Apprentice Age Limit: As per the Apprentice Act.

DRDO NSTL Apprentice Salary:

The salary details for the different apprentice positions are as follows:

• Graduate Apprentice: ₹9,000 per month
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹8,000 per month
• ITI Apprentice: As per the rates prescribed by the government

DRDO NSTL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the apprentice positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Graduate Apprentice: Must be a B.E. / B.Tech Engineering Graduate in the relevant discipline.
• Diploma Apprentice: Must have a Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.
• ITI Apprentice: Must have completed ITI in the relevant trade.
• Only candidates who have passed during the years 2021, 2022, and 2023 are eligible to apply.

DRDO NSTL Apprentice Selection Process:

The selection process for the apprentice positions will be based on the qualification marks (ITI, Diploma, B.E. / B.Tech) and documents verification.
