Eligibility Criteria for HPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023
To be eligible for the HPSC PGT Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. / M.A. / M.Com) in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher.
- Certificate of qualifying Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) / School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) in the concerned subject.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The minimum age requirement for HPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023 is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 42 years as of 18th July 2023. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/BC candidates of Haryana, women, and military service candidates. Candidates with disabilities (PwD) are eligible for a relaxation of 10 years.
Selection Process
The selection process for HPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023 consists of the following stages:
- Screening Test (MCQs) – 100 Marks
- Subject Knowledge Test – 150 Marks
- Interview / Viva Voce – 12.5% Weightage
