- General / UR – 325
- EWS – 79
- OBC – 215
- SC – 119
- ST – 59
Age Limit: (As on the closing date)
- The age requirement is between 18 to 27 years.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST category enjoy a relaxation of 5 years, while OBC candidates have a relaxation of 3 years.
Salary:
Successful candidates will receive a salary in Level 4, amounting to ₹25,500 – ₹81,100/- in the Pay Matrix. This is in addition to admissible Central Government allowances.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a Diploma in Engineering in one of the following fields: Electronics, Electronics & Tele-communication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Applications.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with specialization in Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications (BCA).
Application Fee:
Candidates applying for the IB JIO Recruitment 2023 are required to pay an application fee of ₹450/- (₹400/- for Examination Fee + ₹50/- for processing charge). Male candidates belonging to UR, EWS, and OBC categories are eligible for this fee.
Payment can be made through various methods, including Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, UPI, SBI challan, and more. The fee payment should be made using the SBI EPAY LITE payment gateway.
Selection Process:
The selection process consists of three tiers: Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III.
Tier-I: Online Exam (Objective type MCQs)
Candidates will be assessed based on their performance in an online exam comprising 100 questions. The exam will be divided into two sections: General Mental Ability (25%) and a combination of subjects related to the essential qualifications (75%). The maximum marks for Tier-I are 100.
Tier-II: Skill Test
Shortlisted candidates from Tier-I will proceed to the skill test. This stage is designed to evaluate their skills in relevant areas and carries a weightage of 30 marks.
Tier-III: Interview / Personality Test
Candidates who successfully clear the skill test will face an interview or personality test, which holds a weightage of 20 marks. This phase will focus on assessing their suitability for the role and their overall personality traits.
