Eligibility Criteria for IDSA Recruitment 2023

To be considered for the above positions, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Research Fellow (Selection Scale)

• Ph.D. or M.Phil. or Master’s degree with at least Second Division in Social Sciences and allied fields such as public policy, international relations, strategic affairs, or development studies.
• Minimum research experience of 07, 10, or 13 years, depending on the highest degree obtained.

Research Fellow

• Ph.D. or M.Phil. or Master’s degree with at least Second Division in Social Sciences and allied fields such as public policy, international relations, strategic affairs, or development studies.
• Minimum research experience of 05, 08, or 10 years, depending on the highest degree obtained.

Associate Fellow

• Ph.D. or M.Phil. or Master’s degree with at least Second Division in Social Sciences and allied fields such as public policy, international relations, strategic affairs, or development studies.
• Minimum research experience of 02, 03, or 04 years, depending on the highest degree obtained.

Research Analyst

• Master’s Degree with a First Division in Social Sciences and allied fields such as public policy, international relations, strategic affairs, or development studies.
• Preference given to candidates with a background in the respective fields and those who have completed M.Phil. or Ph.D. in the desired area.

Age Limit and Pay Scales for IDSA Recruitment 2023

The age limit and pay scales for the different positions are as follows:

Research Fellow (Selection Scale)

• Age limit: Not more than 50 years
• Pay Scale: Pay Level 13, ₹ 123100 – 215900/-

Research Fellow

• Age limit: Not more than 50 years
• Pay Scale: Pay Level 12, ₹ 78800 – 209200/-

Associate Fellow

• Age limit: Not more than 45 years
• Pay Scale: Pay Level 10, ₹ 56100 – 177500/-

Research Analyst

• Age limit: Not more than 25 years
• Pay Scale: Pay Level 06, ₹ 35,400/- per month Fixed
