Indian Army Engineering Recruitment 2023
The Indian Army has released a notification for the recruitment of Engineering Graduates for the year 2023. This is a great opportunity for unmarried male and female Engineering Graduates who are Indian citizens, as well as widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in harness. The recruitment is for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. The Indian Army SSC Technical 2023 Course will commence in April 2024 at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Indian Army Engineering Age Limit:
- SSC (Tech) – 56 Men and SSC (Tech) – 28 Women: Candidates must be between 20 to 27 years old as on 1st April 2024 (Candidates born between 02 April 1997 and 01 April 2004, both days inclusive).
- Widows of Defence Personnel Only: Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 1st April 2024.
Indian Army Engineering Eligibility Criteria:
- For SSC (Tech) (Men and Women): Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of an Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates in the final year should be able to provide proof of passing by 01st October 2020 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the commencement of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Such candidates will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at OTA, as well as stipend and pay & allowances.
- For Widows of Defence Personnel (SSC (W) Non Tech): Graduate Degree in any Discipline.
- For Widows of Defence Personnel (SSC (W) Tech): B.E./B.Tech Engineering in any engineering discipline.
