Age Limit
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must fulfill the following age criteria as of 31st May 2023:
TGT (English): Between 21 and 35 years
Lab Assistant: Between 18 and 50 years
Art & Craft Teacher: Between 21 and 35 years
Band Master: Between 18 and 50 years
Boxing Coach: Maximum age of 35 years
Mess Manager: Between 18 and 50 years
Horse Riding Instructor: Between 18 and 50 years
Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Between 18 and 50 years
Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Between 18 and 50 years
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive attractive remuneration based on their appointed positions. The salary details are as follows:
TGT (English): ₹30,000 per month
Lab Assistant: ₹14,000 per month
Art & Craft Teacher: ₹30,000 per month
Band Master: ₹25,000 per month
Boxing Coach: ₹15,000 per month
Mess Manager: ₹25,000 per month
Horse Riding Instructor: ₹35,000 per month
Upper Division Clerk (UDC): ₹25,000 per month
Lower Division Clerk (LDC): ₹21,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria
To ensure that candidates possess the necessary qualifications and skills, Sainik School Goalpara has established the following eligibility criteria for each position:
1. TGT (English): Candidates must hold a degree in English, along with a B.Ed. degree. Additionally, they must have qualified the CTET/STET exams.
2. Lab Assistant: Candidates should have completed their 10+2 education in the Science stream. They should also possess the ability to communicate effectively in Hindi and English.
3. Art & Craft Teacher: Candidates must possess a degree in Arts and Craft or a recognized diploma in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, or Graphic Arts, with a minimum duration of 5 years.
4. Band Master: Candidates should have completed the Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Panchmarhi, or an equivalent course in the Naval/Air Force.
5. Boxing Coach: Candidates should hold a coaching diploma from SAI or an NIS Diploma in Sports Coaching.
6. Mess Manager: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination. Additionally, they should possess a diploma or degree in Catering, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
7. Horse Riding Instructor: Candidates should have completed their Intermediate education or an equivalent qualification. They should also have knowledge of Horse Riding and must be qualified in the Risaldar course.
8. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) / Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and should have at least 2 years of office experience. They must also pass a typing test with a speed of 40 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. Proficiency in shorthand and the ability to correspond in English will be considered additional qualifications.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the following stages:
- Written Test: Candidates will be required to appear for a written test that assesses their knowledge and skills relevant to the position they have applied for.
- Skill Test: Depending on the position, candidates may undergo a skill test to evaluate their practical abilities and expertise.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written and skill tests will be called for an interview, providing them with an opportunity to demonstrate their suitability for the job.
