Pay Scale
The selected candidates for the position of Civil Judge will be entitled to the following pay scale:
- ₹ 27,700 – 770 – 33,090 – 920 – 40,450 – 1080 – 44,770 + Allowances, as per the Rules.
Eligibility Criteria
For Practicing Advocates/Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors:
- Candidates must possess a Law Degree from a recognized Indian university, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act, or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- Candidates should be enrolled in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu or any other State in India.
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience as an Advocate or Pleader in any Court, or they should be an Assistant Public Prosecutor with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
For Fresh Law Graduates:
- Candidates must be fresh Law Graduates with a degree in Law from a recognized University.
- Candidates should be eligible to be enrolled as an Advocate.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks (reserved categories) or 50% marks (open category) in their Bachelor’s Degree of Law.
- The Bachelor’s Degree of Law should have been obtained within the three years prior to the date of notification.
