Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or passed an equivalent State Government recognized examination on or before 1st August 2023.
Selection Process:
- Preliminary Examination: An objective-type written examination that assesses candidates on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Mathematics, and Reasoning.
- Main Examination: A comprehensive written examination evaluating candidates on various subjects related to law enforcement, including General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, and Mental Ability.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Assessing candidates’ physical fitness through tasks like running, long jump, high jump, and more.
- Interview: A personal interview to evaluate candidates’ suitability for the SI position, assessing their knowledge, communication skills, and demeanor.
- Document Verification: Verification of necessary documents to establish eligibility and qualifications.
- Medical Examination: Ensuring candidates meet the physical and medical standards required for the SI role.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on performance in all stages, leading to the appointment of successful candidates as Sub-Inspectors in the Bihar Police.
