The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has released a recruitment notification for various positions in 2023-24. Here are the details:

• Total Vacancies: 147

Important Dates:

Vacancy Categories:

• • Senior Residents: 119 posts
• • Jr. /Sr. Demonstrators in different specialties: 13 posts
• • Senior Medical Officer: 02 posts

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Senior Residents:
    • A Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
    • Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
    • A Postgraduate degree i.e. MD/MS in the specialty concerned or its equivalent.
  • Sr. Demonstrator / Jr. Demonstrator:
    • M.A / M.Sc. in the respective field, Ph.D.
• Age Limit: Up to 45 years with age relaxation for specific categories.

Selection Process:

• Computer Based Test (CBT) (75 Marks)
• Departmental Interview & Assessment (25 Marks)

Application Fee:

• ₹800/- plus Transaction Charges for SC/ST category.
• ₹1500/- plus Transaction Charges for all others including General/ OBC/EWS.
• No fee for PwBD category candidates.

• Candidates must upload scanned copies of their self-attested/attested certificates/documents supporting their educational qualifications, date of birth, and category certificates.
