The Headquarters, Coast Guard Region (East), Chennai, has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Store Keeper Grade-I and Sarang Lascar on a deputation basis. Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years.

Pay Scale: Pay Level-04 in the Pay Matrix.

Eligibility Criteria:

Store Keeper Grade-I:

• Persons serving under the Central Government.
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis or holding posts carrying Pay Level 2 in the Pay Matrix with six years of regular service in the grade.
• Three years of experience in handling stores and keeping accounts in a store in any recognized firm or Central or State Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking.

Sarang Lascar:

• Persons serving under the Central or State Government.
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis or holding posts carrying Pay Level 1 in the Pay Matrix with eight years of regular service in the grade.
• Certificate of competency as Sarang from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.
• Desirable: 02 years of experience as Sarang in charge of a Vessel of twenty Horse Power.
