Age Limit
To be eligible for Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2023, candidates must fulfill the following age criteria:
- Minimum Age: 17.5 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
- Date of Birth: Candidates should be born between 1st November 2002 and 30th April 2006 (both dates inclusive)
Salary
The candidates selected under the AGNIVEERVAYU scheme will receive an attractive Agniveer package. The salary structure for Agniveer recruits is as follows:
- 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹36,500 per month
- 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month
In addition to the monthly salary, recruits will also receive risk and hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), dress allowances, and travel allowances.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Agniveer (SSR): Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination (Matric with 12th class) with Mathematics and Physics, along with Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science from a government-recognized board.
Agniveer (MR): Candidates should have passed the Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Selection Process
The selection process for Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2023 consists of the following stages:
- Stage I: INET (Computer Based Online Examination)
- Stage II: Written Examination, Physical Fitness Test, and Initial Medical Examination
- Stage III: Final Medical Examination
Exam Fee
Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of ₹550/- plus 18% GST. The fee can be paid online through net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.

Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on the inner face of forearms.
