Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra Forest Department Recruitment 2023
The eligibility criteria for the different positions are as follows:
- Accountant: Candidates should have a degree in any discipline and knowledge of Marathi.
- Surveyor: Candidates should have passed 10+2 / 12th class and have knowledge of Marathi.
- Forest Guard: Candidates should have passed Matric or 12th grade and have knowledge of Marathi.
- Stenographer (Higher Grade): Candidates should have passed Matric / 10th grade, possess a shorthand speed of at least 120 words per minute, typing speed of at least 40 words per minute in English/Marathi, and have knowledge of the local language (Marathi).
- Stenographer (Lower Grade): Candidates should have passed Matric / 10th grade, possess a shorthand speed of at least 100 words per minute, typing speed of at least 30 words per minute in English/Marathi, and have knowledge of the local language (Marathi).
- Junior Engineer: Candidates should have a diploma in Civil Engineering and knowledge of Marathi.
- Senior Statistical Assistant: Candidates should have a degree or postgraduate qualification and knowledge of Marathi.
